BYE-LAWS OF THE CLUB

Membership

  • The admission fee for each member shall be Rs. 100/- only.

  • Monthly Subscription Rs. 100/-

  • Any Judicial officer who is posted in Ghaziabad Judgeship will automatically become a member of the club.

  • If the subscription of any member is in arrears for more than three months without satisfactory explanation to the Gen. Secretary, his/her name will be removed and the Executive Committee may reconsider his/her application for readmission subject to all the arrears including the admission fee being paid.

  • The District Judge, Ghaziabad shall be Ex-Officer President & The Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ghaziabad shall be the Secretary of Club

  • First and third Friday of every month shall be Club Days, to be attended by the officers/members with their families.

Objectives of the club shall be

  • To promote sports and cultural activities among the members and their families.

  • To publish periodicals, souvenir etc.


Accounts

  • Official Year- The official year of the association shall be from 1st April to 31st March of every year.

  • There shall be a treasurer of the club, a Judicial Officer nominated by the President.

  • The assets and liabilities and the balance sheet of the association shall be laid before the President by the Treasurer every sixth month.

Auditor

An auditor shall be appointed annually and the remuneration shall be fixed by the President and the Secretary.


Provision

Provided that no amendments in the bye-laws rules and regulations of the club shall be made which may prove to be repugnant to the provisions of Sec. 2(15), 11, 12, 13 and the 80G of the Income-Tax Act, 1961 as amended from time to time.


There shall be a saving bank account of the club in a nationalized bank.


There shall be maintenance of accounts of the Association. The accounts shall be duly audited by the Chartered Accountant. Every year the account shall be closed by 31st march.


The funds of the association shall be invested in the modes specified under the provisions of sec.13(1)(d) r.w.s. 11(5) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 as amended from time to time.


Dissolution

In the event of dissolution or winding up of the club the assets remaining as on the date of dissolution shall under no circumstances be distributed among the members. The same shall be transferred to another Charitable Society/Association whose objects are similar to those of this club.


The funds, contributions and donations, the income of the club shall be solely utilized for the achievement of its objectives and no portion of it shall be utilized for payments to the members by way of profit, interest and dividends.


President

  • He/she shall be in over all charge of the club. All the policies and programmers shall be formulated and implemented only through him/her.

  • He/she shall operate bank account jointly with the General Secretary.

General Secretary

  • He/She shall call for meeting of the General body as when deemed necessary with the previous approval of the president and maintain the minutes book and record of all the proceedings of the meetings.

  • He/She shall be the correspondent of the association and shall be in-charge of the office with all the record of the club.

  • He/She shall be the custodian of all articles and belonging both movable and immovable of the club.

  • He/She shall operate bank account jointly with the president.

Treasurer

  • He shall maintain the accounts of the club.

  • In the absence of the President or Secretary, he shall jointly operate the bank account with the other.
